Founded in 2003, University of South Asia, Bangladesh is a private higher education institution located in the metropolis of Dhaka, a city with a population of over 5 million inhabitants. Officially accredited and recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, the University of South Asia (USAB) is a coeducational institution offering courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees across several fields of study.
The University of South Asia library boasts a rich collection specializing in business, English, environmental science, health science, engineering, and technology. It operates as an open library system for USAB students, providing extensive resources including books, journals, newsletters, theses, and CDs.
Currently, the library holds more than 5,400 books, 3,500 e-books, and 500 e-journals, ensuring students have access to a wide range of academic materials to support their studies and research.
